Yoga Fitness Apps
Sometimes, we want to practice our yoga but don’t know how. You might want to work on your downward dogs and warrior poses but don’t have the means of going to a yoga studio, especially during this virus. If you are a beginner, it can be difficult to make a plan yourself, especially if you don’t know the do’s and don’ts. Because of that, I’ve devised a list of varying yoga apps with their ratings and prices, as well as a description of what they target.
Daily Yoga
With a rating of 4.8 stars in the app store and available for both iPhone and Android, this is a free app that gives step by step guidelines of yoga poses and practices. From beginner to pro, this app is great to have, helping you learn and eventually master poses ranging in difficulty levels. This app also offers over 50 workout plans and regularly updated content.
Down Dog
Down Dog has a rating of 4.9 stars and is free (with in-app purchases) and available for both iPhone and Android users. This app has more than 30,000 configurations and is constantly adding new ones. If you want to have a new routine every single day to mix things up in your day to day life, this app is right down your alley. With so many different choices in routine, you can adjust exactly what you want to be in yours without fear of boring repetition. After researching this app, I actually downloaded it myself and have thoroughly been enjoying it!
Glo
With a rating of 4.9 stars and available to iPhone users for free, Glo has an array of videos, readings, and guided lessons for everyone. This app is great because of the variety of styles of videos they have. Want to watch a quick five minute video to start your morning? Have the whole afternoon to unwind and relax? Want to learn something new about meditation or yoga? Perfect for all people, this app should definitely be a part of your home screen.
Yoga -Track Yoga
Free with in-app purchases and with a rating of 4.8 stars in the app store, this app is available to Android users. I love this app because unlike the other ones, with only information guidelines and classes, this is also for your personal progress. Track the classes you take and lessons you learn with this app so you can always have them handy when out and about.
